MTA Commuter Bus Service is a vital link that connects thousands of Maryland’s suburban residents with jobs in Baltimore and Washington D.C. Commuter Bus operates weekdays during morning and evening rush hours, and is managed by private contractors with oversight from the MTA.
Monthly
- Good for unlimited rides within the designated zone during the month printed on the pass.
Senior/Disability Monthly
- Allows reduced-price rides for within the designated zone, during the month printed on the pass. Customer must have a valid senior or disabled ID on file with CommuterDirect. More information about discounted fares and accepted forms of identification.
Senior/Disability Ten-Trip
- Good for 10 trips within the designated zone. Customer must have valid senior or disabled ID on file. Customer must have valid senior or disabled ID on file. These tickets expire 6 months after date of purchase. More information about discounted fares and accepted forms of identification.

Transit Link Card
