MARC Train Service
The MARC Train Service (MARC) is an integral component of Maryland's transportation system. The 187-mile commuter rail system, providing service on three lines, operates Monday-Friday between Washington, DC and Baltimore, MD; Washington, DC and Perryville, MD; and Washington, DC and Martinsburg, WV.
Senior/Disability Monthly
- 50% savings on select MARC tickets for seniors (65+) and for persons with disabilities. Good for unlimited travel between the stations listed on the ticket during a calendar month. ID must be on file with CommuterDirect.com. More information about discounted fares and accepted forms of identification.
Senior/Disability Transit Link Card
- A joint fare card allowing for unlimited travel on MARC and Metro for one calendar month. 50% savings on select MARC tickets for seniors (65+) and for persons with disabilities. ID must be on file with CommuterDirect.com. More information about discounted fares and accepted forms of identification.
Valid for base fare on Metrobus and DASH.
Student Transit Link Card
- A joint fare card allowing for unlimited travel on MARC and Metro for one calendar month. 15% savings on select MARC tickets for students with valid ID on file with CommuterDirect.com. More information about discounted fares and accepted forms of identification.

Transit Link Card
- A joint fare card allowing for unlimited travel on MARC and Metrorail for one calendar month. Valid for base fare on Metrobus and DASH.
Unlimited Monthly
- Good for unlimited travel, in either direction, between the stations indicated on the ticket. Pass is valid only during the calendar month shown on the ticket.
